Ravi graduated with Masters in International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and returned to India after an internship with the global marketing team of Sanofi, New Jersey, USA. He joined Ajanta Pharma, where he oversaw Marketing and Joint Venture Operations in the CIS region and later headed the international business development division. During his tenure, the company saw its brands move up to top 10 categories and expansion to 8 countries in the CIS region.

Ravi has over 2 decades experience in Life Sciences, Infrastructure Industries and Sustainable Energy. He is passionate about promoting and mentoring new businesses across several verticals such as Energy, Mining, Biotech and Information Technology which includes companies like Gencrest and Infinichains, both start-up technology disruptors.

Vivek has over 23 years of experience in Human Resources in the areas of Manpower Planning, Training and Development, Talent Acquisition, Compensation Design and Benchmarking, Talent Retention and Motivation Strategy, Payroll and Statutory Compliance, and Industrial Relations.

This experience has been across sectors such as Manufacturing, Services, Engineering, Healthcare, and Pharmaceuticals. He has also worked with New Business Startups, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Projects and Expansions in line with Business Modules.

Vivek strongly believes that Human Resources is not just a support function that sets up Quality Standards but also a Business Unit that supports the Vision and Goals of the organization.

Mr. Sailesh Pati is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with an impressive 24-year track record in prominent corporations - Vedanta, Hindalco (Aditya Birla Group), DLF, Coromandel (Murugappa Group), Paradeep Phosphate, and Tata Refractory. His proficiency encompasses various aspects such as conceptualizing and executing financial procedures for startups, establishing standard operating procedures (SOP), designing internal control systems, and implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.

With a robust background in fund management, treasury and forex operations, he has effectively managed financial resources optimizing company performance. His experience extends to areas like plant accounting & finalization, product costing, budgeting, cost control, taxation, management information systems (MIS), statutory compliance auditing.

His tenure as CFO, Paradeep Phosphate Limited, (turnover of 6000 Crores), underscores his ability to drive strategic initiatives for organizational growth.

Kavita has 8 years of experience in handling Statutory & Secretarial Compliance, Corporate Governance matters, Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and Due Diligence.

She has worked both with listed and private companies, corporates as well as startups, handling Mergers and Amalgamation and also Acquisitions of Companies and Foreign Funding Compliances.

Kavita is an Associate Member of ICSI since 2012.

Arvind is a Chartered Accountant and Company secretary with more than 19 years of experience in the Finance & Accounts domain where he worked with leading organizations such as the Birla Group, Raymond, Mahindra, and Greaves. His core competencies include Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, MIS Reports & Variance Analysis, Working Capital Management, Risk Management and SOP Compliances. He has successfully managed SAP and IND AS implementation.

Along with the core financial skills he is also proficient in Team Management, Business Strategy and Business Partnering. Prior to joining Samta Group, he has worked with Greaves Cotton Ltd, a listed engineering company that manufactures auto engines and aftermarket components.

Anand has 23 years of experience as a Human Resources professional across Manufacturing Units, Green Field Projects, and the Agriculture sector. He firmly believes that people are the most important resource for any organization.

During his professional journey, he has handled assignments across critical HR roles such as mass hiring, setting up new projects, managing exports and domestic sales networks, and HR partnering for business. At Samta, he believes that the inclusive culture and work ethics are defining factors for future growth.

Anand’s belief in growth for all stakeholders guides his initiatives for forming an innovative and inclusive team that takes the organization forward.

Dinesh, a veteran of India’s fertiliser and agriculture sector joins Gencrest from Matix, where he played a commendable role in expanding high-potential markets and maintained a significant topline revenue model, consistently through his innovative, cost-effective solutions. His knowledge and experience in Project Management, Land Lease Authorization, and Project Logistics helped him establish Matix's urea-ammonia plant.

Dinesh began his career with Zuari Agro Chemicals and made a noteworthy impact on company’s sales-marketing vertical. Later, he bolstered Chambal Fertilisers’ standing in the market. After which he joined as Marketing Head - Indo Gulf Fertilisers, where he transformed the company into a versatile entity with 100+ products. He offered valuable insights and designed policies for India's fertiliser landscape while his journey at Third Bridge Group.

A gold medalist in Human Resource Management from IILM, Delhi, Swaroopa, is a seasoned HR Professional with more than two decades of experience. She has gained a wealth of expertise in HR Greenfield Projects, Process Transformation, Automation & Optimisation through technology, and is into creating sustainable solutions for human capital.

Due to her innate forward-thinking & outcome-based HR perspectives, Swaroopa is a leader par excellence with the vision to steer HR functions at Samta towards the organization’s mission along with a sense of strong ethics and thus construct employees into cultural ambassadors.

Prior to joining Samta Group, She has supported organizations/conglomerates like Matix Fertiliser & Chemical, Yamaha Auto, and LG Electronics. During this journey, she has been accredited as Psychometric Tests Analyst for Thomas Assessment.

A techno-commercial wizard with more than 24 years of experience in the Agri input industry, Satish joins Gencrest as Vice President - Sales & Marketing. He holds a B.Sc (Hons) in agriculture, an MBA in marketing, pursued IIM-Calcutta's Strategic Management Programme - EPYM.

Prior to joining Gencrest, Satish was Head Marketing – Coromandel International Ltd – Crop Protection business. He has worked for companies like Dhanuka, Nagarjuna, Agrichem & Makhteshim - Agan (Adama) in Sales & Marketing.

His areas of expertise include Team building, Channel Management, Business Development. He has a proven track record of creating brands and establishing business.

He is a recipient of awards from PMFAI for best marketing campaign and ‘The Most Admired Marketing Leaders Award’ from World Marketing Congress.

Vinay brings with him over 25 years’ experience, with the last 15 + years in strategic management roles. His journey has seen him associate with leading brands such as Tata General, Monsanto (Solutia), Pall, InterWrap, and Skechers, before joining the Samta Group.

His strength includes leading the Core Functional Leadership Team comprising of Accounts, Finance, Commercial, Compliance including Taxation, Legal, Secretarial, Info-Tech & Logistic. He has been passionately involved with startups and green field projects as also with Mergers, Acquisitions & Joint Ventures. He is an active member of CII CFO Forum.

Rashmi brings with her a mix of leadership skills, commercial acumen and technical expertise. She has 2 decades of experience in various sectors such as Biotherapeutics, Clinical Research, Microbial Engineering & Enzymology. She has a Doctorate degree in Enzymology and a Post-Doctoral in Proteomic and Molecular Biology. She is also an entrepreneur and is actively involved in the strategic decisions made in the company.

Being a firm believer in social responsibility, she constantly works on developing quality solutions and products that are beneficial to society. Rashmi also takes time out to volunteer at a non-profit center for cancer patients every weekend. Aside from work, she is involved in several socio-economic causes such as women’s health, public education and animal welfare.

A visionary, entrepreneur, philanthropist and above all, a social reformer, his entrepreneurial endeavor, Ajanta Pharma, has today become a highly successful pharmaceutical empire, operating over 30+ countries including the US, Europe, Asia and Africa. Vinod is a synthetic biologist with 16 years of experience in the fields of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetic Engineering, Enzyme Engineering, Enzymology, and Biocatalysis. Prior to Gencrest, he was with Reliance Industries Ltd., where his work resulted in a patent application and publication. He also worked as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, Germany.

On the academic front, Vinod did his PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands and his MSc in Chemistry from IIT Delhi. He has 15 publications and 4 patent applications to his name.

Chandrashekar has over 16 years of valuable experience in managing Supply Chains. His expertise lies in Strategic Planning, Network Optimization, Warehouse Management, and SOP Development. He has an MBA in Marketing from the Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai.

Prior to Gencrest, he was associated with Barry Callebaut where he spearheaded the supply chain for India and South Asia. His expertise also extends to fields such as Specialty Chemicals and Agrochemicals.

Chandrashekar’s lateral thinking approach combined with an analytical and data-driven mindset is a natural fit for the culture of innovation at Gencrest.

Mragank brings with him 28 years of experience in the field of Project Management. He is proficient in the Operations and Engineering aspect of composite textile units. His skills lie in the areas of Implementation and Maintenance of Quality Systems, Buyer Compliances, Inventory Reduction, and energy-saving practices in the textile industry.

As the Head of Operations and Projects at VHM Ind. Ltd., Mragank oversaw a greenfield composite textile project based in Amravati, Maharashtra where he managed to plan and execute the project in record time.

He was also in charge of Engineering and Utility of two units at Morarjee Textiles Ltd., where his team got recognition for undertaking successful energy-saving initiatives.

Production Officer to GM - Operations, has been an incredible 31 years of journey for Uday, M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics). His key strength areas: Production Planning & Management. Resource Optimization, Process & Manpower Management, Quality Technology Transfer & Management in Pharmaceutical Sector. He has worked for organisations like, CIPLA Ltd., WYETH LABORATORIES Ltd, JOHNSON & JOHNSON, FLAMINGO PHARMACEUTICALS LTD., AJANTA PHARMA LTD., VOVANTIS LABORATORIES (SARABHAI ENTERPRISES), AURA LIFECARE, FRANCO -INDIAN PHARMACEUTICALS, Etc.

In addition, Uday has successfully managed regulatory audits from the USFDA, UK MHRA, UL GMP, WHO, NAFDAC, and numerous other nations.

Jointly with R&D team, Uday has accomplished many successful achievements in transferring timely, innovative products at various sites which ultimately led to scale up of batches resulting in cost-effective products.

Nishith has a plethora of knowledge in the field of supply chain management, having worked in it for 21 years. He has a proven track record of success in various supply chain roles, having worked in the manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries. His previous firms have acknowledged his ability to manage the operations of the company efficiently.

Bringing a wealth of experience from his work at Nilons Enterprises, Morton Foods Ltd., Gujarat Tea Processors & Packers Ltd., Essel Propack Ltd., Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., Unilever Ltd., and Pidilite Industries Ltd., Nishith is committed to advancing operational excellence, cutting costs, and smooth operation of supply chain at Gencrest as well. He was also actively engaged in designing the syllabus for SCM - IIT Guwahati.

Sibnath brings with him over 20 years of experience as a Science and Technology Researcher in the R&D Sector. In this journey he has been associated with the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, City University of New York, New York Blood Center, A-STAR, Singapore, and Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemical Ltd.

His strengths include leading Platform Technology Development in the field of Biofuel, Nutraceuticals, Plant Nutrition, Bio-Fertilizers, Bio-Surfactant, and Demonstration Technology from lab to pilot scale and gained laboratory research experiences in the field of Cancer Biology, Hematology, and Virology.

Sibnath is also passionately involved as a consultant in Agriculture, Healthcare, and Education Sectors. He has published more than 15 national and international journal publications and is the holder of more than 9 patent applications.

Sandesh brings in more than 27 years of experience in the Textile Industry where he has worked across functions such as Market Operations, New Product Portfolios, and Distribution Networks.

He has previously worked at PT Gokak Indonesia where he played a crucial role in successfully taking the business to new heights. He drives results with his ability to take calculated risks, independent yet inclusive decisions, and his ideals of transparency.

Sandesh has worked with both the domestic and international markets and understands the business from the ground up. Hands-on knowledge of the production process and corporate expertise in Marketing has helped him develop significant techno-commercial acumen.

Rajinder brings in close to 14 years of experience in Sales and Marketing in the Agro-Industry. His expertise in B2C sales helps him effectively guide teams and clients through business problems, transforming them into successful initiatives.

In his previous role at Mosaic India, a leading global crop nutrition company, his strong analytical skills and strategic ability helped identify and grow untapped markets.

Rajinder has a passion for creative solutions and was instrumental in introducing digital marketing strategies for Mosaic India during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has been awarded the Mosaic Presidential Award for Commercial Excellence 2016.

Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai is the Vice President of the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology and Chairman of the National Design and Research Forum.

He has a sharp eye for identifying talent. Dubbed as the "Moon Man of India", he is the former director of ISRO, where he has triggered some of the most prestigious space programs such as Chandrayaan-1, the Mars Orbiter Mission, and to a major extent Chandrayaan-2.

Honored with a Padma Shri, this village boy with humble beginnings became a pioneering space scientist. He is an ace at calculating probable hazards and obstacles during interplanetary missions and has contributed to more than 60 satellites made in India.

Shreyaskar is a changemaker, who has earned recognition in the Sustainable Fashion Manufacturing Industry. He is the Managing Director for Pratibha Syntex, a sustainability- oriented business, supplying top global apparel brands in Active, Fashion & Essential Categories from over 30 countries.

His passion for building processes that minimize environmental impact and maximize social impact led him to set up Vasudha Swaraj, which is India’s first and largest network of organic cultivators with 3,500 farmers.

Madhusudan is the Vice Chairman of Ajanta Pharma where he played a crucial role in expanding exports to over 30 countries. His vision is to make an organization of repute and to fulfill the unmet medical needs of the underprivileged.

The Government of Uganda conferred and appointed him as Honorary Consul of Uganda in Mumbai, for the Western Zone of India wherein he had an opportunity to welcome Honourable Indian Prime Minister – Shri Narendra Modi in Uganda. Madhusudan is a trustee of Samta Foundation, where he played an instrumental role in starting programs such as Clean & Green Risod and Annachhatra and the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nitin is the Former Founding Managing Partner, Kotak Investment Advisors, the alternate asset investment arm of Kotak with USD 4.6 bn under management. He has over 33 years of VC/PE investment experience spanning ICICI Venture, Dresdner Kleinwort Capital and Kotak.

Nitin’s uncanny ability to identify promising leaders and helping them realize their potential has been the hallmark of his career. He led investments in over 80 companies many of which are leaders in Pharma, Biotech, Healthcare, Media & Retailing sectors in India.

He was the founding Director General, Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE), is a member of the Board of Governors of Institute of Chemical Technology, ICT (formerly UDCT), Mumbai and member of the CII National Committee on Biotechnology.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying & Valuation, from the prestigious Annamalai University, Chennai. Mr. Chikane holds a life membership as an Approved Valuer from the Institution of Valuers (AMV). And is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AME). His capabilities include: Project Planning, Execution, Engineering, Monitoring, Controlling, Billing and Operation and maintenance of projects.

Socially conscious, he has been an important part of the Tree Planting project at the Solar Plant.

Amit is an exploration specialist with skills in Geological Modelling. He has more than 20 years of global experience spanning 20 countries.

He has managed projects from reconnaissance to resource stages in a variety of occurrences, such as porphyry gold-copper, epithermal and orogenic gold, sedimentary uranium, kimberlite diamonds, and iron ore. Some of his major accomplishments are, an iron ore discovery in Guinea for WAI Capital, Canada and a gold discovery in Tanzania for NMDC Ltd. India.

He has a Doctorate degree in Structural Geology from Banaras Hindu University, India and was awarded the prestigious Dr. K.S. Krishnan Fellowship by the Department of Atomic Energy. Amit also founded MPXG Exploration, India and GeoExploration LLC, USA.

Srinivas brings with him more than 24 years of experience in managing different ore commodities of Mineral Process Plant Operations, Project Commissioning, Finance, Environment, Logistics, and liaising with corporate and external agencies. He holds a Masters in Technology - Mineral Processing.

Fura Gems Inc. and Hindustan Zinc Ltd. are some of the reputable organizations where he has worked and succeeded in achieving cost reduction, evolving production engineering techniques, and creating a teamwork environment to accomplish business targets. Notably, he was also recognized for implementing Six Sigma projects in a beneficiation plant.

Srinivas has obtained a fellowship at the Indian Institute of Mineral Engineers. He is an active member of the Indian Institute of Metals, Kolkata and the Indian Society for Training and Development.

Praveen is an accomplished strategist with more than 33 years of experience in the Mining business. He has expertise in the areas of Mine Construction and Mine Expansion, Mine Design, Beneficiation, and Smelting.

He is well-versed in Strategy Formulation, Cost Reduction and Budgeting, Vulnerability and Risk Assessment, Asset Optimization, Behavior-based Safety Management, and Project Management. Praveen has been part of the management teams which brought positive transformations at Hindustan Zinc Ltd., India and AGRC, Armenia (Vedanta).

He played a key role in getting the Rampura Agucha Open Cast Mines recognized as a world-class operation. Praveen was also actively involved in reviving the Rajpura Dariba Mines in 1994.
